I used to use it religiously, but not so much now. I agree that it is very good for working out if a certain vintage of a particular wine is drinking/past it. I need to get the new version and update my wines I think.
Reminds me of WhiskyBase, which functions in much the same way, albeit with a slight more focus on cataloguing whiskies and a slightly more reserved voting metric. 92+ points is generally reserved for outstanding whiskies, and most rating sit in the 70-80 range. There also certain reliable power users who's reviews were also a good bellweather. I used to do purchasing for TWE, and it was our version of wikipedia; everyone started their research there, but for god's sake, don't tell anyone that's where you got your info from!
Adding IWB (international wine bore) to the end of my name… years since I logged on to my account, was v much in the old 90s format then. Nice to hear they’ve finally updated a bit.
My dad used to use Cellar Tracker, I always just assumed it was for folks with huge budgets and fancy cellars like my childhood one, where you just stared at a bottle but had to wait 20 years to taste it. Now I will have to check it out myself. I have countless wine journals and free standing tasting sheets littering my office. It would be nice to have them all in one spot digitally as well.

Also good for finding “slightly obscure” wines that you cannot find notes for anywhere else.
Always fun to see what other people think of the more obscure ones.
Agree with your comment. It is an excellent site or app to track my inventory and bottles I have tasted before.
I don't know what I would do without it.

That's really good insider information. I'm going to have to explore. I log most of my whiskies on Cellar Tracker but it's not really built for it.

I go through phases with it. But at the moment I'm logging nearly everything.

I definitely don't have a huge cellar or a fancy budget. It made my life so much simpler.
Okay- this is great to know thanks for this. I am definitely going to dive in this week!
Well, you just convinced me to give it a try! Just signed up.
Come and say hello!
I agree with - I find the "Drink between" dates really useful
Yes definitely the most helpful thing.
