What a brilliantly evocative and beautifully written piece, thanks to you both for writing and publishing this. I had the pleasure of visiting Venice with Russell once for a piece I was writing on the backstreet bacari (guided by RN of course) and it makes me smile to imagine him pointing out all these tiny details about Harry’s Bar.
