Is the world's cleverest wine gadget an answer to a problem that doesn't exist?
Occasionally ‘life hacks’ do the rounds on social media such as clever ways to make use of leftover wine. When things like this appear, a friend responds along the lines that there’s no such thing as leftover wine, not in Britain anyway.
Sometimes I feel that way about Coravin, a device for removing wine from a bottle without pulling out the cork. It’s an answer to a problem that doesn’t exist.
